I was involved with the visual development of this new IP pitched as an adult comedy. I created environmental concepts for the show’s locations and explored a variety of styles for the characters based on references given. We eventually landed on a style based on BoJack Horseman. The client wanted a highly saturated, colourful, psychedelic look so the challenge for this project was creating a colour scheme to work for the characters and background. I created options for the background and characters to go to the client, helping him to refine his vision and land on something that worked.
